Maria Baljak’s interest in health began from personal experiences gained while rehabilitating from various sports injuries at an early age.

Maria went on to complete a degree in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University that provided a strong foundation in Anatomy and Exercise Physiology and led to work with varsity athletes and fitness training in the community. These experiences together with her interest in travel brought her to England where Maria completed her degree in Physiotherapy in 2002.

  It has been a wonderful experience at Electra Health. Booking process is quite easy with online booking or a phone call. The place is clean and welcoming. Reception staff is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the physio therapist Karim Hilali. He is super friendly, caring and professional.   October 14  2025 I came in for the very first facial muscle retraining after unfortunately having Bell’s palsy since March 2025. I am very grateful meeting Christina who helping me with the training. Christina is very nice, very patience showing me the massages I need to do to regain moving those tight muscles. I am so glad I have Christina to train me with these massages. Thank you Christina. I will keep working on those exercises (home work) & I will see you again next month.
