How WorkSafeBC Physiotherapy Billing Works
Vancouver Physiotherapy Hub operates within Electra Health at 970 Burrard Street. WorkSafeBC physiotherapy at this address is delivered and billed through Electra Health, which is the WorkSafeBC-listed provider at this location.
WorkSafeBC distinguishes between contracted and non-contracted providers. Where a provider is contracted with WorkSafeBC, that provider bills WorkSafeBC directly for approved services on an accepted claim, and the worker is not asked to pay for covered treatment. Where a provider is not contracted, the worker may be asked to pay at the time of the appointment and seek reimbursement, and WorkSafeBC reimburses at its established rates, which may not cover the full fee.
Because billing runs through Electra Health’s WorkSafeBC arrangement, what applies to your appointment still depends on your claim status and the services authorized. Reception will confirm this with you before treatment begins rather than leaving you to find out afterwards.
If your claim is still pending, or if a particular service is not covered, you may be asked to pay for the appointment and seek reimbursement if the claim is later accepted.
Before You Book
Because the billing route depends on your individual claim, we ask WorkSafeBC patients to call reception rather than booking online. This lets us confirm claim status, the appropriate physiotherapist and the billing arrangement in one conversation.
